LEED Green Associate Test Prep Classes
When taking the LEED Green Associate Test Prep class, you will need to have one of the following books with you in class. If you would like for JCCC to purchase your book for you, please call our office at 913-469-3891 and let us know which one of the following titles we need to purchase for you. You must be enrolled in the course CRN associated with the book price. If you already own a copy, please bring this to class with you.
Green Building Design and Construction Reference Guide, 2009 Edition)
For those who are involved in new building construction, and/or major renovation (like HVAC, Plumbing and Sanitation) projects, could be construction engineers, project managers, structural engineers, HVAC engineers, architects, electrical engineers, site superintendents, civil engineers etc. should purchase this book.
Other non-construction/engineering fields such as bankers, commercial real estate professionals, developers, etc. who are involved in new building construction and/or major renovation, should purchase this book.
Attendees need this reference guide for the LEED Green Associate Examination before moving on to the LEED AP examination for LEED Building Design and Construction examination.
Green Building Operations & Maintenance Reference Guide, 2009 Edition
For those who are involved in building operation and maintenance: Engineers, property/facilities managers, maintenance manager, maintenance superintendents, engineers who are maintaining and/or operating buildings. Remember, none of the JCCC classes cover this area, attendees still have to go through the LEED Green Associate Examination before going on to take the LEED Accredited Professional examination for Operation and Maintenance.
Green Building and LEED Core Concepts Guide, First Edition (E-book)
For those who just need an understanding of what Green Building and Core Concepts are all about.
